Yes. Mountain Storage is a fully fenced and gated property with electronic gate access requiring a personal gate code, full property nighttime lighting, an extensive security camera system, motion detection monitoring, and on-site staff during business hours with 24/7 on-call availability. Our climate-controlled building requires both a gate code and a separate building keycode for an additional layer of security.

The following items are strictly prohibited:

• Flammable or hazardous materials (gasoline, propane, kerosene, motor oil, paint, fireworks, fertilizers, compressed gas, acids, solvents)
• Food and perishables (canned goods, pet food, any edible items)
• Living things (people, animals, plants)
• Illegal items (stolen goods, controlled substances, unlicensed firearms)
• Weapons and ammunition
• Wet or damp items that could promote mold or mildew
• Unregistered or uninsured vehicles

Yes, insurance is required for all units. You may use your existing homeowner's or renter's insurance if it covers off-site storage. If you don't have coverage, we offer month-to-month plans through Safestore starting at $8.95/month. Our staff can help you get set up at the time of rental.

All units are rented month-to-month with no long-term contracts required. Rent for as long as you need and move out with proper notice.

We are located at 6422 Central Ave, Hot Springs, AR 71913 — approximately 5 minutes south of Lake Hamilton on the back side of Mt. Riante. Get directions from our Google listing or call us and we'll guide you in.

Our climate-controlled units (10x15 and 10x20) are inside our dedicated climate building, which maintains consistent temperature and humidity year-round. Ideal for furniture, electronics, documents, clothing, and artwork. Access requires your gate code plus a separate building keycode. Our standard drive-up units offer convenient direct vehicle access with gate code only.

Yes, Mountain Storage is an authorized U-Haul dealer. You can reserve trucks, trailers, and moving equipment directly at our facility.
